3rd party program's load time is slow

Newbies

I have a sign shop program written by a third party that uses FM5. It takes an awfully long time for it to load and the creator has no clue why. I have a 400mz system with 128 mb of ram, a 6.3 gb hard drive with plenty of free space.

Any suggestions as to why it might take so long to load?

What is an "awfully long time"? What does the app do at startup? What else is running on your system? How fast should this app load? What kind of computer do you have? What version of Windows do you run?
