Port Forwarding to Port 5004

Featured Replies

Hello all --

I have 1 external IP Address ... currently port 5003 is being forwarded to FMServer 11 (on 5003) and this works fine. I just set up a FMServer 12 on a different Server and I would like to make this visible to the outside as well. With my external router, I can easily map external port 5004 to the 5003 port to the FMServer 12. It seems that the FM Client has some issues with aiming at a different port (or at least the ways that I have tried... fmnet:/77.77.77.77:5004/sandbox.fp7 ). Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance,

--Rich

The FM client is hard-wired to only communicate with port 5003 so you can't force it to use 5004. Maybe you can set up a VPN for your FM12 users which would give you two separate ways in.
