nelliott Posted June 6, 2000 Posted June 6, 2000 Sorry this is such a basic question but please can anybody help! I have a simple database on a small network and am experiencing long time delays when 'guests' are swapping between databases. At present I am using the 'open' command to access another database. Is there a better solution? Much thanks Nick

Off hand, I would say that opening ALL of the files on one computer, right away, would likely help your problem. The answers to the above questions would help for me to give your a better recommendation. ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Senior Filemaker Developer http://www.inthescene.com mailto:[email protected] =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
