I am porting a database from FMP4 MAC to

FMP4WINDOWS, I rename the FMP Mac file with

a .fp3 extension, but the files names in the scripts haven't this extension and the script don't work because of this.

Do you know how to globaly change the file name to add .fp3 extension because I have dozen of scripts.

I plan to upgrade to PMP5, do you think I will have to modify all scripts an other times (extension are FP5) ?

The FMP v5 Developers Edition has the ability to rename files, including all references.

There is another trick that works, which is to set the files to single user, rename them all, then open the files. As they ask for the location of the files, you choose them and the internal references will be reset.

However this is not a 100% function and I would still crawl through the relationships and script references to make sure.
