FM 12 Pro on Vista

I ran into a problem. The documentation states that FM 12 Pro does work on a Vista machine. I get the following error when trying to install it:

You cannot install or uninstall FM on this system. Please refer to the system requirements in the installation instructions for more information

Any idea what to do to get it to install? I used a login that's administrator. Thanks.

It worked on a second machine. Not on the first. Does that help with the answer?
