Newbies Rj Levesque Jr Posted September 22, 2012 Newbies Posted September 22, 2012 Everytime I try to install the scriptmaster plugin I see a quick flash of the FMP 12 Advanced splash screen then nothing. I remove the scriptmaster extension and it opens perfectly. Is this an issue that requires some sort of update? I purchased this plugin license and wished to renew it another year but I need it to work. Please anyone...
wbasham Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 We released a version of the plugin on (4.132) that should work with FileMaker 12. If you have an earlier version you will want to make sure to replace it with the most recent version of ScriptMaster available (4.134).
Newbies tmargheim Posted November 5, 2012 Newbies Posted November 5, 2012 Sorry to resurrect this topic, but I seem to be having the same issue with the 360Works Email plugin and thought it might be related. I have verified that I am using the latest version I can find (1.963). Oddly enough, I am experiencing the issue on my Windows 7 Professional x64 system, but not on my Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 system, even though I'm using FileMaker Pro Advanced 12 on both. Any thoughts?
ooparah Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 A couple of general troubleshooting questions (QuickFire-style): 1. Do you have any other plug-ins installed on either machine (more importantly, the problem machine)? 1b. If so, are all of these plug-ins up to date? 1c. Any plug-ins installed in your AutoUpdate folder? 2. What version of Java are you running on either machine? Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Newbies tmargheim Posted November 7, 2012 Newbies Posted November 7, 2012 Thank you! It looks like it was the Java after all. I had checked this on Monday, and I thought that 1.6.0 would handle the plugin. Now that I've updated to 1.7.0, it works like a charm. Thanks again!
wbasham Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Java 1.6.0 does work with our plugins as they are compatible with Java 5 and up. You do need a 32-bit installation of Java for our plugins and that may have been the issue. I'm glad you were able to get the plugin working and please let us know if you have any further questions.
