For those that are making new fmp12 solutions and are not converting the solutions, a small quick tip.

Although you can not copy layout objects from pre 12 to 12 without it being rendered as an image, you CAN copy scripts and fields back and forth between the two applications WITHOUT conversion.

IOW, you can borrow script, fields, tables, etc from an fp7 file and insert them into a new fmp12 solution without having to create a converted file.

Well at least on Windows... Haven't tested on Mac but I would assume the same.
