Newbies Brian1973 Posted July 14, 2000 Newbies Share Posted July 14, 2000 We host FM on a PC and we have clients that use MACS and PC's to access the database. However, on one of the MACS when I hit hosts (so I can enter in the TCP/IP address of the host) It tells me the file for TCP/IP networking cannot be found. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks

yafreax
the same thing was happening to me when i first put FM5 on one machine. i couldn't figure it out, but after i opened a FM5 file that i pulled off another computer through the network, it worked fine. just make sure the file you are pulling uses the TCP/IP and has it enabled. I don't know if my situation was just a fluke, but I guess its worth a shot.
