Using stationery paper for reports

Featured Replies

Hoi Guys

I have a question. And i can't find the answer...

Is it possible for customers of my DB to use there own stationery paper for reports? In email, pdf and print?

I like them to be abel to import there stationery one time. And then it will be used in all reports.

I included a example stationery

Do i have to cut it in 3 pieces than? (header - body - footer?) or is there a better way?

thx

Tijn

It's easy to get FMP to print graphics and text in the page headers and footers -- but really hard for body-length images like you have in your example UNLESS the layout is EXACTLY one page in size. This leaves out invoices and the like that need to be dynamic.

I'd be discussing with the client to remove the blue swirl from the paper body.

If they absolutely need it then feed the pre-printed paper into the printer that has the swirl but not the header and footer text and graphics.

If all the output is PDF at some stage in the process, then this can be achieved with ScriptMaster and iText, even putting a different continuation sheet from the second page onward..
