Newbies Dean Roberts Posted October 15, 2012 Newbies Posted October 15, 2012 Hello, I have a database with seven tables. One of my tables loses its background color when using list view. I looked at all of the other tables but could not find a difference. Pics are attached. Can someone tell me why this is happening? FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced. Many Thanks!
Lee Smith Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Why are you showing v7 in your profile and asking a question about v12? Did you create this file in an earlier version of FileMaker and then convert it, or did you create this file in v12? Is your copy of FileMaker current, v12.0.2? is the background an object? or is it set in the parts? Lee
Newbies Dean Roberts Posted October 15, 2012 Author Newbies Posted October 15, 2012 Why are you showing v7 in your profile and asking a question about v12? Hmmmm... I haven't been here since v7. I ended up doing OS X server admin full-time. Did you create this file in an earlier version of FileMaker and then convert it, or did you create this file in v12? The file was developed in v10. Is your copy of FileMaker current, v12.0.2? Yes is the background an object? or is it set in the parts? When I choose to "Edit Layout" I see the purple color that should be there. It shows as being a graphic - Fill - Solid Color Lee Thanks!
Lee Smith Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 So it is an object? It seems that the object isn't completely within the body. What happens if you make the body color purple? 1
Newbies Dean Roberts Posted October 18, 2012 Author Newbies Posted October 18, 2012 Thanks Lee Smith! I was able to resize the Body area and make the purple background fit. Apparently the purple fill area was larger than the Body area and it kept the purple background from appearing. That's my theory anyway, but the background issue is resolved. Thanks Again!!
