Ok had server up and running and working fine but after the server was shut down I did ran disk utilities to fix permissions.

now after a reboot Server will NOT start and any command lines will result in

Error 9: Permission Denied

I un installed - restarted - installed - restarted and got everything working again... and noticed a new update ( OS update ) so it seemed benign enough - well the same thing happened. Console will not start and CL gives the error - I can't remember which but one error it threw was 10006

The FM KB and TechNet has never offered a "REMEDY"
