Newbies Pierrexxxx Posted November 9, 2012 Newbies Posted November 9, 2012 Hello, I would like to send emails to about 500 of my contacts. The body (message) should contain a jpg image This would be done through FILEMAKER, using the SMTP Server - Mac 12.0v3 Is it possible to accomplish ? Thank you, Pierre
bcooney Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 No. You need an email plugin. See 360works email documentation.
Newbies Pierrexxxx Posted November 10, 2012 Author Newbies Posted November 10, 2012 Thank you very much for your response. A little more detail : Here is where I am at (V12.Ov3 : Mac) : - I'd like to send an email to about 500 of my clients - The email would be a jpg of 81-150 KB - I can't do the job with the image in the body of the message without a plug-in - I can send the emails with the image file as an attachment using SMTP I would like to know : - If I can use Apple-Mail - (is there a way to get the image in the body ?) & if so, would it be advantageous to the SMTP method - What about the claim that many people don't like to download attachments ? Thanks again,
