Converting "More Than" to > so a formula can use it appropriately

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Ive got a database, where users can add various conditions - "More Than and Less Than". I've got a formula underneath which works providing I use the proper > < tags in it. I want somehow be able to convert More Than on to > and Less Than into < within the formula.

Anyone know of a neat way to do this.

If( (gWeeks & Case(Condition="Less Than";"<"; Condition="More Than";">") &  Condition_Weeks and Condition_Week_Include = "Yes") and (gWeek_No ≥ Week_No_Start) and (gWeek_No ≤ Week_No_End) and (Supplement_Type = "Add"); gBasic_price_per_week + Supplement_Amount)

Thanks

Jalz

How about bypassing the text stage and getting directly to the point =

Case (
Condition = "Less Than" ; gWeeks < Condition_Weeks ;
Condition = "More Than" ; gWeeks > Condition_Weeks
)
and
...the rest of the formula...
