I want to export one record at a time and name the exported file based on a field value. Anybody know if I can do this?

There is no feature within FileMaker to do this. You will have to use either AppleScripts (or equivalent on the PC) or a FM plug-in (I don't recall, but there may be one). -bd

The plug-in that will do the job is DialogMagic.
