lesterd Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I have a database that is working. I type a course number in a field and the credit and class description pops in the correct related fields. I am not finished with the database, BUT when I try to add more classes to the COURSES table it tells me the TABLE MISSING. I have a lot to related data fields and everything is working, If the table is missing, where is it getting the data to fill the fields in the other tables? 10Grade, 11th and 12th grades. I have attached the file. User name: ld134545 PW:ld134545 Any help is appreciated. Thanks Using FMP 11 Advanced
Lee Smith Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 If you tried to attach a file, it didn't make it. The process is rather easy, if you follow these steps. Step 1 Find the file on your hard drive, and zip it. Step 2 Do not use the Quick Reply, BUT instead, choose the More Reply Option Step 3 Click on Attached Files and this will take you to your hard drive to locate your file that you want to attach and that you previously zipped. Select the file, and then click Attach This File, and then click Add Reply. If you should have a problem write me a private me
lesterd Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 I am having a problem attaching the file. I click on Choose file and select a zipped file, then attach this file and I get the message, Error No file was selected for upload. I guess my question is: I have three tables and they are all getting data from a table called COURSES. Do the fields in the COURSE table need to be GLOBAL fields? I just can't understand why I can't add new records to the COURE table. If someone wants to look at the file, I will need to email it to you as I cannot seem to upload the file here. Thanks Lester
Lee Smith Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Are you sure you followed #3? I didn't highlight the Select the file above, but it sounds like you missed that step. Click on Attached Files and this will take you to your hard drive to locate your file that you want to attach and that you previously zipped. Select the file, and then click Attach This File, and then click Add Reply.
