Emma in England Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) REWORDED QUESTION I want to see in a portal records where ANY VALUE in a field in the home table = ANY VALUE in a field in the related table. So if the home table has 'LS WF BD' and the related table has 'Hillsborough' there will be no match (in spite of 'ls' occurring) but if home has 'LS Leeds WF BD' and the related table has 'Leeds Bradford Halifax' there will be a match I can manipulate either field to be return-separated values or something, if that helps. I just can't see my way ahead right now. Thanks, Emma Edited January 20, 2013 by Emma in England
Emma in England Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Sorted! I just needed to see where I was going, I think asking the question helped. Although the way I worded it didn't! I just added a calculation field to the related field so each word was a single value, with a return at the beginning and at the end, and in the home field put a return above and below the Postcode field, that way I could look for whole words. Sorry to be wasting your bandwidth.
