Are there any loops or hoops I can jump through to find out what is causing the 1506 error.

If I attach the PDF that is generated in this script to my normal email via a client using the same smtp server setting it goes fine but it will not send out from Filemaker 11 Advanced.

Any help appreciated

be cautious, the email may have been sent. FileMaker may give you an error while the mail server may only have issued a warning.

You could also have FileMaker use your email-client to send the email for debugging, maybe there's sonething wrong with the file-path..

I know that the email has not been sent as it does not arrive in my inbox. I have used my email client to check it and it goes out OK using exactly the same SMTP settings as I have set in Filemaker ??
