Newbies GordonCox Posted February 18, 2013 Newbies Share Posted February 18, 2013 I want to test out MirrorSync so I've installed FMSAdvanced 12.0.3.327 on my OS X 10.8.2 laptop. Finally got it running properly and then downloaded the demo of MirrorSync. My files have XML privileges enabled. Â When I run the Mac Installer file in the MirrorSync 1.4306 folder I get an error immediately. Â Any ideas? sarah360works
Hello Gordon, This looks like it may be a issue with Mountain Lion. Do you have OS X 10.8? If so, you might need to relax your Gatekeeper settings, found under System Preferences > Security. Once you allow apps to be installed, you shouldn't have any further issues. Please let me know how it goes! Thank you, Sarah Mulligan
Newbies GordonCox Posted February 24, 2013 Author Newbies Share Posted February 24, 2013 Thank you Sarah, that was indeed the issue. Despite Control-Click to open on the Installer file Gatekeeper must have stopped the install process as when I turned Gatekeeper OFF completely installation went without a hitch. Thanks again.
