Newbies aparrish Posted February 18, 2013 Newbies Posted February 18, 2013 I have a client that wants to canvas a neighborhood and ask residents a series of questions. I am wondering can I take advantage of the GPS in iPhone/iPad for walking directions and can I sort the neighborhood so he can simply use the next record button when he goes door-to-door?
No_access Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Though you can build a system like that, it is problem better to simply have the person who is walking, type in the house number as he goes and enter his data. you may find the gps not as accurate as you think. and for all it take to type in 3 or 4 numbers? I would simply load the street for them, let them put the house number in. etc... 1
Newbies aparrish Posted February 18, 2013 Author Newbies Posted February 18, 2013 Not a bad idea. I will play with it I bet I can sort it numerically once we pull the street then they can just page through it.
