I have 3 tables

Session note

Intervention.

 

I want a field in session note to use a checkbox value list to enter text based upon the a field in the intervention table.  However, I would like to be able to add intervention descriptions as I go, is it possible to use the "Allow entry of other values" option to add to the Intervention table?  If not, how can I solve this. 

 

The intervention table is not currently related as I can't work out a logical way to do that.

We would need to see your relational graph. There is no reason (that I can see) which would prohibit relationship if you use unique relational keys. So also please clarify using similar logic - let's pin this down for you. Is this right?

One Client can have multiple Interventions

One Intervention can have multiple SessionNotes

Can one Intervention involve multiple Clients?

ADDED: and can a single Intervention have multiple Session Notes? And what does 'session' mean in relation to Intervention?
