I am trying to make a shortcut button that grabs my database, turns it into a PDF and pulls up an email form with a PDF attachment. Works on PRO, but I just need it to work on GO, so no If Else, just pure script for the iPad. Ideas? I'm a bit unclear about the variable naming scheme etc required to get this.

 

Anyone have a script? Just need a button that brings up the PDF attachment. (Oh, and I will be sending out several per day, so maybe defined by a certain time?)

From my experiments you can't automatically attached the PDF to the email.

 

You can do a SAVE as PDF with dialog which gives you get the option to view save or email. Requires an action on the iPad, so is not automatic.

 

Whilst you can save a copy of the PDF onto the ipad it still requires the uses to select it and use an email option.
