IEW Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I have a page that contains 3 portals. "Process" Filtered by "StatusIP="Process" "Hold" Filtered by "StatusIP="Hold" "Finalized" Filtered by "StatusIP="Finalized" Each record has a field "TotalQuote" I want to get a total of "TotalQuote" for all records in each portal. Can't seem to get to work, tried using "Summary field". Any help would be appreciated.
LaRetta Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) If you have a summary field from the child ( portal ) table then you can create a single-row portal with exact same filter as 'Finalized', resize the portal to just 1 pt larger on all sizes than summary field and place it below 'finalized'. Repeat with each portal. Summary fields will respond to portal filtering IF they are also filtered the same. Match summary field table occurrence to same as each portal's table occurrence name. In FileMaker, context is king. Edited March 22, 2013 by LaRetta
