ron G Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I have an application that I have been working on for over 18 months. There are about 30 version developed over that period.  Yesterday I 'updated' my Mac 10.8 with Java 7.  Now, ALL copies of ALL versions will not run my import script.  Here is the 'offending line': Set Error Capture [On] Set variable [$$FilePath; Value:SelectFile]   On execution this line hangs.... ie, produces the spinning beach ball of death.  I used to have this problem until I discovered that Set Error Capture needed to be ON.... and it is.  Since ALL previous version all hang on the same line and since I only updated to a 'fixed' (ha) Java v 7 I have to ask "Is anyone else experiencing this weirdness?"  PS. It also 'hangs' when I click on RUN SCRIPT after selecting the SELECT FILE module in ScriptMaster.fp7  PSS. I just downgraded to Java 1.6.0_43 with no improvement....Â
ron G Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 I found the solution. I uninstalled FM Advanced 12 03 and reinstalled it and upgraded from 01 to 03. Now it works. Why? I don't know. What could possibly 'corrupt' FM to the extent that a plugin does not work that previously worked fine?
