I have a music template with a Container field with an MP3 icon that I can click on to play music and it is shown on the attachment. 

 

I imported the above MP3 into another Filemaker template into a Container field but it does not play and looks like the other attachment in white.

 

How can I get the MP3 to work in the new Filemaker template?

Containers have additional option now to make them interactive. Check that setting.

Inspector > Data > Interactive content
