I am trying to create a portal to display related records based on last name. My data is being imported via an excel spreadsheet. The issue I'm having is the records with the same last name are appearing as multiple records in FM. I'd like to have them all show up under record # 2, etc.

Its a little hard to say what the issue is without more information on the structure of your database. You seem to have at least two table occurances since you are displaying information in a portal.

This is normal behavior for an import. Each row in your excel file will be a new record in Filemaker. 

I'd like to have them all show up under record # 2, etc

What is "under record #2"?  Do you mean in a portal?
