Is there a way to control the original window?  When you open a file, you cannot specify what kind of window opens (FMP12) nor the controls. 

I Split this off as its own topic, as it seemed to be a different problem then the one you posted it to.

 

If you are asking if there is a script step to take you to a particular window, read about the Go To Layout script step. If you are asking about the new Window Styles in FileMaker 12, perhaps this video will help. LINK
