Park CMR? ..for a 2 or 3rd CMR file schema - your thoughts

Good day..

I have attach a relationship Â image of my application with a main CMR file.. all works fine, relationship of agent/admin agents to CMR records etc..

I am thinking?, Â Is there a simple way to park primary CMR file, then use completely indepented file, or 3rd, or CMR Â Â Â

I am thinking, operator can select from List different set of CMR records.. without them being mixed in one cmr main with separation of that sorts for reasons?

like Â Â rename CURRNT file to X

then rename Y to Current

Maybe create List picking from CMR alternative files

Is there even a command in FM to RENAME a file...

Maybe change a data source.. being separate,

should I create a dummy CMR file...linked or mapped to the main CRM

Maybe Import/ Export

Any Idea

I finally figure myself... Its working pretty nice now, there could have been a simpler way

I have imported Excel to my main CMR data file.. a marketing app

I ended up creating a picklist, Exporting the same current CMR filename to a named folder..

With some pre configuration admin stuff setup beforehand.

Now with a simple picklist I can swap for a unlimited copied files from my Picklist i am working on, that were excel files once... then maybe export these back to Excel if desires ..
