Hi all,

 

I want to create a FileMaker 11 file to pick up data from XML files that will be placed in a folder on the external network via FTP.  

 

Thanks in advance.

Are the XML files only accessible from the FM machine via FTP? Or can the folder be a mapper drive from the FM file's perspective?

Personally, I'd run a cron job to perform the FTP section, and then schedule the FM file to check locally as required...
