I am using FM 12 04 in Windows.

 

I have a report that has a portal on it.  It shows a maximum of 3 records.  It works. 

 

But, some portal records have 2 rows.  Others have 3.

 

Question: "Is there a way to have the blank records collapse the portal and avoid showing the blank portal row?"

Only during printing or preview mode. A work around could be to have 3 different tabs ( hidden unclickable transparent tabs ) with 1, 2, or 3 row portals showing. Then you could have a script trigger load the tab tab based on the number of related records in your portal.
