Froodware Plug-in for Copy Protection

I did some Web research and found http://www.froodware.com/protectorinfo.html.  They have a FileMaker Pro 11  plug-in for copy protection and have an online retail shopping system.  So essentially one purchases the plug-in and then pays a percentage (approx. 20%) on each sale of the the solution from the sales Web site; they handle all of the accounting.  Has anyone here tried this plug-in?  How good is it ?  How about customer service at Froodware?

I've now learned that the Froodware Plug-in is only for the Mac, not the PC, so it's out of the question.
