qube99 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 In the FileMaker Pro 12 Training Series they give a problem of displaying a list of salesmen, each with a bar chart. The problem with the solution is the charts are not scaled to each other so that a salesman with 3 sales has a bar the same size as another salesman with 6 sales. Since all these bar charts display on a page together they don't convey the visual information the way I'd like. My question is how to scale multiple bar charts all to the same scale? Can it be done without adding an extra data series just for scaling?
jbante Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 In the Chart Setup dialog for the chart, look at the "Chart" section on the right > "Axis Options" > "X-Axis". You're looking for the "Set minimum" and "Set maximum" options. (For a column chart, this would be under the Y-axis instead.)
