I just virtualized our FM9 Server on a 2003 server (will be bringing up a new 2012 server for FM12 server later).  From a physical workstation I can access the hosted files on the server but on a Windows 7 virtual machine, I cannot.  I can ping the server but cannot see any hosted files on the virtual server from the virtual desktop.  The virtual client machine is using a DHCP ip setting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typically when this happens it is something on the Win7 or on the path between it and the server is probably blocking port 5003.  So check the firewall.

Are you running FM9 client on Win7?  In that case it can be a corrupted server.pem file on the client.  That was a FM9 issue.  Solution for that is to take the server.pem file from your working workstation and copy it over to the Win7 client.
