i am creating a database for the sale of a land development. I want to create a layout that will display the status of the individual units in a map of a site plan.

Any ideas?::?:???????

I'll assume that you have a database file where each record is a unit. Create a layout with the map graphic in this or another file. Create a calculation field for each unit equal to the unit number (UnitFive = 5). Build a separate relationship based upon calculation field matching unit number field for each unit (I know, I know, there are a lot of units!). This will allow you to place a field for the status of each unit on your map layout. The catch is you need a separate relationship to pull up each unit's status.
