When trying to import a graphic - either in a "Container" field or in the Layout mode I get the following error message:

Error-2804 occured during initialization of 'Claris XTND System.'

Anyone know what this means???

I'm just guessing, but it sounds like the translator for the graphic you are trying to insert isn't available. I would try reinstalling the graphic translators from the FileMaker installation CD.

I had the same problem myself, tonight. I'm running Mac OS 9. I tried a custom install of the Graphic Translator (Claris XTND System). That didn't solve the problem. Hope someone knows the fix for this.

It turns out that the problem was a missing extension. The name of the extension is %XTND_Power_Enabler. I was able to get it from someone else on another of the FM Forums. It is great to have a resource like this to turn to.
