Phil
Is there any easy (and free!) way yo disable the Quit option in FMP on a Mac ? I have a quit button that I need the users to press, rather than them using the menu or apple-q. Thanks
birdman
Phil, There is no way that you can stop a user from using the menu or shortcut to quit Filemaker. You say that you wish the user to use a Quit button. I presume that the button executes a script of one sort or another. You can make the script run automatically when the file is closed, ie when the Quit button is not used, as a possible solution to your problem. As an after thought I remember reading about a plug-in that allows you to change what is displayed in the menus. Such a plug-in would not be free, of course. Hope this helps. birdman
Interesting approach. Thanks for the heads up. It just goes to show that there is almost always a way of getting the job done with FM.
