I have a problem with a Database when I open it under windows. The screen does not stay maximized. I need to set the screen to maximize every time I open the DB. Does anyone know of a method to force the screen size to open maximized under windows?

What you want to do or shall I say never do on a Windows machine is use the Maximize function. This will not only maximize the front most window but all the windows running under FMP.

The best solution is to create a layout that contains a graphic that is the size of the window you want then, create a script that goes to that layout and zooms to the window.

I would recommend you not hide windows or minimize windows on the PC because the way windows and FMP work under Windows is less than Ideal. I have increased speeds by never hiding windows just go to a "Secure" layout and then go to another file. Just leave them open and all the same size. Just let em stackup.
