import records from csv?

Is it at all possible to import records from a csv file using the import records step in Filemaker Go?

I'm working on a bank records app for Filemaker Go. I can download a bank records file using Safari, and can open it in Numbers. But how can I select a folder in Filemaker Go?

You can't. Filemaker cannot access the file system on an is device. And also importing is a process, you have to map fields and set the import parameters. You cannot do any of that on FM Go. Filemaker go is for viewing/editing records, not manipulating the database.

so you must manual type in records from my Mac desktop to transfer records from desktop Filemaker 13 go to iPad mini ?

after lot of reading up ,trial & error,I am unable to Transfer FMP data to iPad mini,either by iTunes,dropbox,or by FileMaker Server ,since cant find host!!
