The opacity option in the color palette, is a great way to reduce development time. In the attached example, each state (normal, hover, pressed) of the navigation buttons are filled with a certain opacity of white or black. When objects are setup like this, they will adopt the colour behind, which make the objects very modular.

    What a crazy world... I was just sitting down to deal with developing an interface where the colours could easily be changed by the user...
