Newbies johnbarnes Posted June 1, 2001 Newbies Share Posted June 1, 2001 I have a problem making a line appear across the page. I have two fields, first is a serial number, second is a description. The Description field that may contain one to six lines of text. I have to provide space equal to the height of the description field on the right half of the page. I solved my problem by duplicating the description field and specifing the text color to white in hope that the layout would slide up and produce a line under the description and accross the rest of the page. Worked great on my printer, but when I installed at site the laser printer would print the description field with the white characters showing up on the black text. I tried sending to back, making white text field transparent, but I am not able to get the white characters to not print over the black text.
