I am looking forward to using Filemaker Go but have a question concerning export and import. I will be creating my database on the PC and sending it to my iPad for normal use and operation standalone. If I need to fix a bug or make changes to the database I need to do it on the PC and send it again to the iPad. My question is how to 'migrate' the data from the original iPad version to the newer iPad version. I tried and export and import script, it worked fine on the PC but not on the iPad. I understand schema changes can pooch this approach as well.

FM GO can not export data to a FileMaker file and it can only import data from a FileMaker file so an export/import routine will not work. You need to import records directly from the old file into the new file.
