Different registration string for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same plug-in?

I just created both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same plug-in using ScriptMaster and was surprised to see that the registration string was different.   Is there any reason for this?   Just curious.

I have also had this issue, which is a bit frustrating. Reported to 360, but did not get a reply…..however, I have not gotten to push them again for an answer….

Furthermore, I experienced today, that the 64 bit version would not install under Windows7 64-bit…. It basically crashed FM13….

Should the plugin file be renamed ?

How can you, with autoupdate function, determinate whether the OS is running 32 bit or 64 bit ?

Just talked with 360….

Regarding the 64bit, well, the 64bit version of the plugin is for using on server only…...

Maybe that is the reason that you get 2 different registration strings…?? and maybe they never thought it would be an issue…?
