I'm converting:

From:  a FileMaker 11 solution with ~6000 images stored in regular container fields by reference to a folder structure on the same server, same drive.

To:  a FileMaker 13 / Server 13 solution with images in SuperContainer.

 

Question: Is there a procedure for mass-migrating all the existing images to a new SuperContainer system?

 

I want the images to be available easily to iOS clients of the main server.

 

 

I did a blog post a while ago that might have the bulk of what you have in mind.  It describes how to migrate to FMS's external container storage but with some tweaking it should work for pushing files to SC too.

 

You will have to convert your FM11 file to 13 first to take advantage of the extra info we can now get from containers:
