Filemaker 13 has a script step, "Close popover".  Is there a way to open a popover using a script?

A popover has two components: the button and the panel. Give the panel an object name; now you can use “Go to Object” to open the popover.

    Ahh.  I tried that applying an object name for the button, and it didn't work.  I'll try naming the panel as you mentioned.
