Supercontainer data disappearing

Featured Replies

Hello,

Our company has been using supercontainer for good over a year now without any problem.

As of late we keep getting data/photos disappear.

Normally as soon as they click upload in supercontainer the file is uploaded to the server at the requested location and that file will remain there till deleted. This is confirmed because they can see the photo in the supercontainer.

They log off, and the next day this data is gone, this varies from person to person and from day to day. Some data stays and some disappears.

Has anyone encountered this error/bug before?

Greetings,

Frederik

Have you checked your SuperContainer Logs?

When I delete a file through the java interface I get:

3/12/14 1:15:03 PM - Deleting ....file.png at the request of the user

This deletes the file and the directory it resides in. You mentioned the photos are disappearing, are the directories as well?

Hello,

Can you perform an upload then verify that the file was successfully uploaded to SuperContainer server by examining the server machine? Can you verify that some data has been lost/deleted in the same way? The log files should absolutely have a register of any data uploaded or deleted, so please examine those as well. You can find the SuperContainer.log file at the root of your storage location on the SuperContainer server machine.
