Harry
Hi, Is there a way to create a circle, with a size that's dependant on a value? I want to create a report that shows a value over each country on a map. I was going to have a map graphic in the layout, and then put a portal on each country and set as 1 row, starting at row 1, 2, 3 etc for the different areas. I think i could do this with a bar chart - but is there a way to make a circle of different size? Cheers, H
jbante
The bubble chart built-in to FileMaker might be a place to look, but if the purpose is to overlay on a map, you might be better served looking for a web viewer-based solution to render the map and the chart in one object. Harry
Thanks, Jbante. I have looked at a few of the Java charting programs. There are lots of them and I figure that they are the standard for charting from FM data. Hence the lack of 'pop' in FM Charts. Is there a popular choice amongst these Java apps for FileMaker? I am not a programmer, so am trying to get my head around integrating into Java through an API. I'd really like an app that worked as a plugin.
