Calculations (with rr's) not showing up in layout. Why?

Hi,

in my order layout (see below) I want to show the amounts of the invoices, but they are reluctant to show up. Only when I switch to the single order layout and have the amount display there, then switching back, they show up in this list layout.

Any idea why is this and how I can have these values to be displayed always?

The value/field in question is a calculation field that looks like this:

RG_OffenerBetrag_oder_Gesamtsumme:
Case (
Listenindikator = "R"  or Listenindikator = "O" ;
RG_OffenerBetrag ;
AuftragZeile::Gesamtsumme_brutto
)

RG_Auftragsumme and are RG_Anzahlung are both number fields

AuftragZeile::Gesamtsumme_brutto is a calculation in the line order table:
Gesamtsumme_netto  +  Gesamtsumme_UST

Gesamtsumme_netto and Gesamtsumme_UST are both number fields in the line order table AuftragZeile.

RG_OffenerBetrag:
RG_Auftragsumme  -  RG_Anzahlung

Thanks a lot for any hints!

Regards,

Gary

Could somebody please help me?  I have found other places in the databases, where calculation fields are defined that use related fields, that also have display problems.

Anybody?

Thanks!

Why don't you prepare a clone of your database with some dummy data. Also, maybe use English field and table names. This might make it easier for others to chime in.

On a related note: it's not a good idea to post screenshots showing actual, legible, non-blurred client/customer data (these strike me as very authentic, up to the license plate numbers … )

Meanwhile I have tracked down the problem to an erroneous import. Some essential fields have not been imported when I filled a clone.  I still need to figure out why this could happen;  I'm kind of at war with FileMaker's import functions.

And you're right. I should have obscured the data in the first place. Thanks for the note.

And thank you for your suggestions. Next time I will make a clone.

Regards,

Gary
