Newbies ddenn98 Posted May 14, 2014 Newbies Posted May 14, 2014 Dear Filemaker Wizards: I have a filemaker pro 13 database containing data(Names, project completed, etc.) where we print completion certificates for our study program. In this database, there is a button that when pressed, opens a layout(certificate) that can be printed. Unfortunately, this opened layout covers the entire database screen and this is an inconvienence when we have to go back and search for another person. Is there a way that when a button is pressed, this certificate opens in a new window and can be printed? Thank you all very much, Dee

webko Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Dear Dee, What we generally do for this situation is script the entire process so that users end up back where they started. Something like Go to print layout Enter Preview mode (pause) Print Setup - Restore Print Go to layout [Original Layout] Cheers
