metamict Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I'm using Filemaker 13 Advanced to turn a small project into a runtime solution. I have some videos that are referenced. When I create the runtime solution, everything works fine, except there is an error that the solution can't find the videos. How should I reference videos in a file that will become a runtime solution (or where should I put them once I've made the solution). Thanks for your help.
Newbies Jose E Lopez Rosario Posted June 10, 2014 Newbies Posted June 10, 2014 Hi, You have to insert the video in a Container field optimized for "Interactive Content" using the "Insert Video/Audio" command. Make sure that when you do so, you're not checking the option to "Store only a reference to the file." If you're doing that right and still getting an error, then you might be using External Storage on the Container field. I noticed that if you have externally stored files in Container fields, FileMaker Pro Advanced doesn't copy those files when creating a Runtime solution. So either turn External Storage off, or insert the files on the Runtime solution itself (not on the source fmp12 file). Either should work. Here's my Runtime playing Nyan Cat.
