Container Field with Auto Enter Calculation

Hello,

 

I have a container field that has been syncing well. I recently added an auto enter calculation that resizes the picture. Now when I sync I am getting a ? on the other end for the picture.

 

Does mirrorSync support syncing container fields with auto enter calculations like this? Here is the calculation:

 

GetThumbnail(Self;200;400)

 

If not - is there maybe a workaround where I can make the pictures smaller but still get it to sync?

Hi - I just tested this setup on my test sync database with the same thumbnail calc, and it worked OK for me in both directions (server to client, client to server).

 

If you want to try the sync again, and then file a bug report, I'd be happy to look at the logs to see if I can see any problem. To file the bug report, go to http://yourServerAddress/MirrorSync and click the 'report a bug' link.

 

In your bug report, be sure to specify:

* What time you did the sync

* The name of the table and field with the problematic container field

* Whether the problem occurred transferring from client->server or server->client

* The primary key of the record that failed
