Delete File function works but returns no result

The function will delete a file, but the result is not placed into a variable like it should. I can work around this by following with a CheckWhetherFileExists function, but I'm curious what might be going on. This is the case on Mac and Windows.

Care to post the function? A little difficult to guess otherwise??
